Where to stay when travelling to CSSconf EU

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015

If you’re heading to Berlin to attend CSSconf EU, then welcome! Berlin is one of the most vibrant cities in the world and we’re certain that you’ll have a fantastic time here. If you haven’t done so yet, we would like to urge you to make accommodation arrangements for your stay here as soon as possible. There are many events happening on the weekend of CSSconf EU, including many other tech events and the Berlin Marathon, meaning that accommodation options in the city are rapidly diminishing. Here are some of our recommendations:

##Team up with other attendees

CSSconf EU is part of wwwtf.berlin, a week full of events dedicated to the web, and many people from the industry will flock to Berlin for the occasion. We encourage attendees to meet and help each other out. Have a free couch or a guest room? Don’t mind sharing a hotel room? Can offer a ride from another city to Berlin for a fellow attendee? Tweet @CSSconfeu and use the hashtags #CSSconfeu & #wwwtfberlin and we’d be happy to spread the word!

Our venue, RADIALSYSTEM V, is centrally located and right next door to a major train station (Berlin Ostbahnhof) and public transport is frequent, reliable and affordable. There’s no need to worry about the location too much. Taxis are also around every corner and you can check in advance how much they’d cost you so you can budget accordingly.

##Hotels and Hostels

Berlin offers all of the conventional accommodation options found anywhere else. You can check availability and book hotels and hostels using services such as Booking.com, Agoda, HRS.

##Other accommodation options

If you prefer, you can also check out private accommodation providers such as AirBnB, or try Couchsurfing.

See you in Berlin!
